IDPH Pediatric HIV/AIDS Case Report

Health care facilities caring for a newborn infant whose birth parent had been diagnosed with HIV prior to labor and delivery, or whose confirmatory test result is positive for HIV infection shall report a case of HIV exposure in an infant in accordance with the HIV/AIDS Registry Act and the Illinois Sexually Transmisssible Disease Control Act.
